Christoph Flamm
He
was born in 1968. Studies in Musicology, German Language and Literature, and
Art History at the University of Heidelberg.
1991:
scholarship holder of DAAD in Moscow. 1994-2001: member of the editorial staff
of the encyclopedia Die
Musik in Geschichte und Gegenwart
(MGG). 1995:
doctorate with a thesis on the Russian composer Nicolai Medtner. 2001-2004:
research assistant at the Department of History of Music at the German
Historical
Institute
in Rome.
2005-2006:
research fellow of DFG.
2007: Habilitation
with
a thesis
on Ottorino Respighi and
the Italian instrumental music from the turn of the century up to the fascism
in the University of Saarland, where he currently teaches as a private
lecturer.
He is
a
member
of the
Advisory
Board
of Musicologia.
