Flora Kritikou

Born in Athens in 1970. Ph.D. in Byzantine Musicology (Music Department, University of Athens, 2001) and in Musical Medieval Palaeography (École Pratique des Hautes Études, Sorbonne, Paris, 2004). She was a music critic in the musical review magazine Diapason (Paris) during the years 1995-1998. Academic assistant to the Music Department, University of Athens, during the year 1998. She has participated in many international musicological conferences. Her research activity centres on the areas of Byzantine Musicology and Gregorian Chant.
