George Roussopoulos

He was born in Athens in 1972. He graduated from the Department of Music Studies (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) and the Department of Sociology (Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences of Athens). He has completed his musical studies in guitar (Guitar Diploma) and music theory. During 1996-1998 he continued in postgraduate studies in guitar at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, Great Britain (“Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Studies in Musical Performance” and “Diploma in Professional Performance”). He is working in public and private music education (Philippos Nakas Conservatory, Music School of Ilion, “I. M. Panagiotopoulos” School, etc). From the period 2011-2012, he is undertaking the postgraduate course “Music Culture and Communication” at the University of Athens.
