Alkistis Soulogianni

Born in 1947. Philologue, PhD of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, book critic. She has published both as a philologue and as a critic in various books, as well as in literary magazines, newspapers, and in the website www.bookpress.gr. She has taught in the Departments of Modern Greek Studies at the Universities of Rome, Catania, Palermo, Munich, Madrid, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Sofia, Riga, Tbilisi, Melbourne, Boston, as well as in the School of Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens. Moreover, she is Director Emerita of the Greek Ministry of Culture, where she successively served as a director in the Directorates of Letters, of Cultural Activities, and of International Relations. In this capacity, she taught in the National School of Public Administration, and in the Diplomatic Academy of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
