Georgia Maria Tserpe

She has studied advanced Harmony, School Music Teaching and Piano Teaching at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki – in excellent grade. She is a graduate from the Department of Law Economics and also a graduate from the Department of Music Studies of Aristotle University Thessaloniki. She possesses a Master of Science in History of Philosophy with Thesis Music and Language: The Progress from the Imitation to the Formalism from the Department of Philosophy in Aristotle University and a PhD Diploma in Historical musicology with Thesis “Musicopoetic structure in the songs for voice and piano by Manolis Kalomiris” from the Department of Music Studies of the same university; both in excellent grade. Her scientific interests and research involve the study of historical musicology and aesthetics (19th and 20th centuries) with special emphasis on the analytical study of the Greek composers in a comparative frame with European composers. Regarding her scientific and educational activity, she has participated in international conferences, has given lectures and taught in seminars for music teachers and for teachers different disciplines. She has also commented for concert-programs and CDs. Her artistic activity involves the song-accompaniment and chamber music. She works as a School Advisor for music teachers in the Regional Directorate for Primary and Secondary Education Central Macedonia.
