Ursula Vryzaki

She was born in 1979 in Athens, Greece. She studied piano, French horn, music theory and musicology in Athens and in Berlin. In June 2009 she has completed her PhD about the Ideological and aesthetic dimensions of the German speaking opera between the two World Wars (Athens University) with scholarship from the Greek State Scholarship Foundation. In the years 2010-2011 she has been working on a post-doc research about the “Greek-German music relationship in the years 1933-1945” (Athens University and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin). She is currently living and working in Berlin.
