Music and Poetry in the Post-Human World. An Ambiguous Perspective

The revaluation of the perennial problem concerning the common provenance and the common aim of music and poetry is evoked here in the speculation regarding the fall of intrinsic values and the fetishism of the “machine” in the contemporary “post-human” world, in which the idea of the collaboration and reciprocal support of the organic with the mechanical is preferred. What actually happens is that in the inner part of the new musical reality this relation between the mechanical support of the foibles of contemporary man, who has removed himself as never before from his metaphysical essence, is being reproduced. It is the aim of the speaker to show the turns of a recapture of the musical tendency towards the metaphysical, through the medium of the role of the technological parameter in music.
