In this paper we present the new trends in the analysis of the electroacoustic music through three steps. We firstly expose the various categories of the electroacoustic music focusing our interest on the computer-aided music. Secondly, we are referred to the most relevant tools and methodological issues from the “concrete era” to our days (acousmograph, sonograph, etc). In the last section we present the technical problems that the analyst has to overpass: no score, no system and no “pre-segmented” discrete notes. The analyst examines this new kind of music through different aspects that reveal it in a meta-aural medium, a kind of “meta-music”.
