Egon Wellesz: The First Years in Oxford as Composer of Instrumental Music

This article functions mainly as a complementary comment to the previous text by Wellesz. Zottos gives us a biographical and ergographical portrait of Wellesz as a composer. Some of his major works are analyzed, in a manner that maintains the memoir-style of Wellesz’s narrative.
