Catalogue of Works by Alekos Xenos (1912-1995)

This publication presents the most complete – until now – Catalogue of works of the Greek composer Alekos Xenos, after relevant research in his personal archive. The catalogue is systematical, due to the fact that most of the works are undated and some of them are lost; it is divided in six categories, namely Songs, Choral Works, Music for Solo Instruments, Chamber Music, Orchestral Works, and Stage Works. Most of the works are accompanied by various comments, whereas the article includes six appendices, including an autobiographical note and a discussion on the composer’s lost works.
