Ion Zottos’ musicological work and the aspects of historiography
The inaugural lecture is a reference to the rich historical and historiographical work of the honored person and an (early) appreciation of it, both in terms of the history of music as part of the general intellectual history, and of the history of musical forms and genres. Based on this report, an attempt is also made towards an introduction to the subject and the individual dimensions represented at the conference.
