A brief addendum to Konstantin D. Economo
This brief text is a supplement to the article “Konstantin D. Economo: a pioneer of the science of musicology in interwar Greece”, published in the previous issue of this journal (Musicologia 21, 2013, p. 201-233). Through a rare testimony by Joseph Papadopoulos-Grekas, we learn the date of death of K. Economo, as well as other information regarding his place of origin, and his teaching and writing activities after the mid-1930s. Furthermore, a small inaccuracy is corrected concerning a piano work by Loris Margaritis that Economo criticizes in one of his concert reviews.
